At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, a netizen shared on social media that they had come across Wang Chuanfu, the Chairman of BYD, on the subway. Accompanying him was Li Ke, who serves as both the Executive Vice President of BYD and President of its Americas region—and also happens to be Wang Chuanfu's wife. The netizen mentioned that Wang Chuanfu chose to take the subway to the auto show, and by a twist of fate, the subway handle advertisements were promoting BYD as well. Numerous netizens commented, praising Wang for being "truly low-key" and "choosing green travel." Prior to this, during both the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show and the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, netizens had similarly noticed Wang Chuanfu and a group of executives opting for the subway to attend the events.
