On February 10, Honda Motor revealed that it had developed strategies aimed at preventing any recurrence of the chip supply shortage issue that had surfaced in the third quarter. On the same day, the company reported its financial results for the third quarter, showcasing an operating profit of 153.36 billion yen, surpassing the anticipated 148.65 billion yen. Its net profit stood at 153.61 billion yen, significantly outperforming the estimated 84.52 billion yen. Additionally, Honda's net sales reached 5.34 trillion yen, also exceeding the projected 5.19 trillion yen. Looking ahead, Honda forecasts its net sales for the entire year to hit 21.10 trillion yen, an upward revision from the previous estimate of 20.70 trillion yen.
