On February 10, Luobo Kuaipao, Baidu’s autonomous driving ride-hailing service platform, and Uber jointly announced that they will intensify their strategic partnership to introduce fully driverless ride-hailing services in Dubai during the first quarter of 2026. This move will make Dubai the first city to offer such services. Prior to this, Luobo Kuaipao had already obtained a permit for fully driverless testing in Dubai and set up its first overseas operational hub. This collaboration represents the first instance of a Chinese company commercially deploying fully driverless technology in a premium market, earning recognition from a leading global player. As of now, Luobo Kuaipao’s global autonomous driving mileage has exceeded 240 million kilometers, with its services spanning 22 cities and over 17 million orders successfully fulfilled.
