Raj Jeganathan, Tesla’s executive in charge of North American sales, has announced his impending departure via a LinkedIn post. This role has witnessed a high turnover rate over the past year. Amid two consecutive years of decline in vehicle deliveries, several key executives have exited Tesla in succession, including Omid Afshar, a close confidant of Musk; Milan Kovac, the leader of the Optimus robot project; and David Lau, the head of software operations. At present, Tesla is grappling with a sluggish demand for electric vehicles in the United States, prompting Musk to pivot his investment priorities toward artificial intelligence, autonomous driving technologies, and humanoid robotics.
