Due to the semiconductor shortage, Honda plans to halt production and reduce output at its factories in Japan and China from the end of this year to early next year. Specifically, the Linglu (Suzuka) and Saitama (Saitama) factories in Japan will suspend operations for two days and reduce production for the subsequent three days; three factories of GAC Honda will halt production for five days. Previously, the North American factories have already been affected by the halt in shipments from Nexperia.
