Fifteen U.S. states, along with Washington D.C., have initiated a legal challenge against the Trump administration, accusing it of obstructing the complete allocation of federal funds intended for the development of electric vehicle infrastructure. These states assert that the U.S. Department of Transportation exceeded its constitutional bounds by halting two funding programs dedicated to electric vehicles. Consequently, they have petitioned the court to revoke the suspension order pertaining to these projects. The Attorney General of California emphasized that the Trump administration's actions have impeded initiatives that could not only mitigate pollution but also foster job creation.
