When their father attempted to dial 120 for emergency assistance using a Honor X70 smartphone, he inadvertently activated the full-screen 'Magic Wallpaper' interface, which is set as the default display. Trapped on this screen without a clear exit option, he was forced to seek help from a neighbor. This delay caused the mother to miss the crucial four-minute window for life-saving treatment, leading to her tragic passing. The family members have since demanded an apology, the removal of the Magic Wallpaper feature, and compensation from Honor's customer service. However, their requests have gone unanswered. This incident has ignited widespread debate online, focusing on the commercial design of mobile phone lock screens and the safety implications in emergency situations.
