Among panel suppliers, Samsung Display saw a 10% year-on-year increase in shipments in the first half, with a rise in market share, while BOE experienced a 31% year-on-year decline, with a drop in market share. It is estimated that full-year shipments for 2026 will increase by 23% compared to 2025, with shipments in the second half rising by 53% compared to the first half, accounting for 61% of the total annual volume. Apple is expected to contribute 27% of the full-year shipments, all concentrated in the second half. For the full year, shipments of large foldable panels are expected to increase by 107% year-on-year, raising their market share to 81%, while shipments of clamshell-style panels are expected to decline by 59% year-on-year. Looking ahead from 2026 to 2030, shipments of foldable panels are expected to grow by 74%, with a compound annual growth rate of approximately 15%, primarily driven by large foldable and multi-foldable products. By 2030, Apple's market share is expected to rise to 42%, while Samsung and Huawei's market shares will decline, with the combined market share of the three major brands dropping to 81%.
