Xiaomi has officially kicked off the global beta recruitment drive for its latest operating system, HyperOS 4. The inaugural phase of this recruitment targets the global and European Economic Area (EEA) variants of three specific models: the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, the Xiaomi 17, and the "Leica Leitzphone, a Xiaomi-powered device." Subsequently, the second wave of recruitment is set to begin on September 17, encompassing the Xiaomi 17T Pro, Xiaomi 17T, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, and Xiaomi 15.
From a design perspective, the fresh iteration of the system interface embraces a "soft light glass" aesthetic, offering a visually pleasing experience. It introduces grouped lock screen notifications for better organization, a novel stacked widget feature on the home screen for enhanced functionality, more adaptable folder placement options, and a revamped integrated device center. This center facilitates the seamless management of various device types within a unified platform.
