Apple's latest offerings, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, are poised for imminent release, and their A20 Pro chip has already made its debut in the Geekbench 6 database, unveiling the inaugural batch of benchmark scores. The data underscores that the A20 Pro chip achieved a remarkable 4727 points in single-core performance and an impressive 12424 points in multi-core performance. Fabricated using TSMC's cutting-edge 2nm process, the A20 Pro chip boasts a six-core CPU architecture, encompassing two high-performance cores and four efficiency-optimized cores, with a base frequency soaring up to 4.93GHz. Moreover, the chip is endowed with seven GPU cores, substantially elevating its graphics processing capabilities. Additionally, the A20 Pro chip is outfitted with a dual 16-core neural network engine, culminating in a total of 32 cores and delivering computational power exceeding 80TOPS, thereby providing robust support for on-device AI functionalities. In terms of memory, the A20 Pro chip supports a generous 12GB of LPDDR5X memory, with the bit width expanded to 96bit, thereby significantly enhancing data transfer bandwidth.
