At 1 a.m. Beijing Time on September 10, Apple staged its fall 2026 new product launch event, introducing a range of new offerings including the iPhone 18 Pro series, its inaugural foldable phone—the iPhone Duo, the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, along with the AirPods 5 earbuds. The iPhone 18 Pro series comprises the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, with starting prices set at 9,999 yuan and 10,999 yuan respectively. These models are driven by the A20 Pro chip, boasting all-around enhancements in performance, battery endurance, and imaging prowess.

As Apple's maiden foray into foldable phones, the iPhone Duo adopts a clamshell-style inward folding design, boasting a 5.4-inch external screen and a 7.6-inch internal screen when fully unfolded. The Chinese variant starts at 15,999 yuan and is slated for an official release on October 23. Both the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 are outfitted with the S11 chip, featuring an upgraded heart rate monitoring system and a novel 'Readiness' function, with starting prices pegged at 2,999 yuan and 6,499 yuan respectively. The AirPods 5 come in a standard version and an active noise-cancelling version, with prices starting at $129, and the version bundled with a wireless charging case priced at $149.
