This innovative tool leverages digital technology to ascertain whether images captured by users have undergone AI modifications during post-processing. When a photo is taken, the primary camera sensor concurrently gathers signed data. This data is subsequently transformed into an 'immutable image' through Apple's 'Private Cloud Compute' service and archived within the 'Photos' application. Should the photo be edited, users have the capability to access the original 'digital negative' and juxtapose it with the altered version to discern variations. Furthermore, the authentication marker associated with 'Reference Image' is not confined to the device used for capturing the photo; users are also empowered to share signed photos with others, complete with reference signatures for future verification purposes.
