Based on the Worldwide Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker published by the International Data Corporation (IDC), the global market for wrist-worn devices witnessed a shipment volume of 48.01 million units in the second quarter of 2026, marking a 4.3% decrease compared to the same period last year. Wrist-worn devices mainly encompass smartwatches and wristbands. Specifically, smartwatch shipments amounted to 37.08 million units, experiencing a 4.2% year-on-year decline, while wristband shipments reached 10.92 million units, down by 4.7% from the previous year.
