According to ZTE, on September 7th, Nubia announced that the world's first AI agent smartphone, the Nubia NaviX Ultra, will be officially released on September 16th. Developed jointly by Nubia and ByteDance, the device is equipped with the Doubao mobile assistant and is positioned as a flagship model for mass production. The Nubia NaviX Ultra redefines human-computer interaction, allowing users to issue natural language commands that enable the phone to autonomously connect multiple apps to complete complex tasks such as price comparison, order placement, and itinerary planning, evolving from a tool that 'requires manual user operation' into an intelligent assistant that 'can handle tasks for users.' The device uses the MCP protocol to interface with third-party apps, with all core large model computations completed locally on the phone, eliminating the need to upload user data to the cloud and ensuring privacy and security. In terms of hardware specifications, the device is expected to be powered by the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 flagship platform, featuring a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz flat display, a built-in 7100mAh battery, and support for 90W/100W wired fast charging as well as wireless charging. For imaging, it boasts a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a periscope telephoto lens, along with a 50-megapixel high-definition front-facing camera. Additionally, the device starts at 512GB across all configurations, is equipped with Changxin Technology's 10667Mbps LPDDR5X memory, and is available in four colors: Blue Realm, Dreamscape, Black, and White. An orange dedicated 'AI button' is located on the side of the device.
