In the past 15 years, Apple has mainly concentrated on refining its current product offerings and launching new services, with only occasional forays into completely novel device categories. On September 9, Apple is set to host an event named "Glowing Surprises". At this event, newly appointed CEO John Ternus will present the latest iterations of the iPhone and Apple Watch. Apple is on the cusp of initiating the most extensive wave of device launches in its storied history. The company has ambitious plans to roll out a variety of entirely new product formats and make inroads into new markets starting from 2026, 2027, and beyond. These strategic moves have been meticulously prepared over the past five years. The upcoming event, along with the much-awaited products slated for release from late 2026 to early 2027, encompass:

  • A foldable iPhone, affectionately known as the iPhone Ultra. It will be outfitted with the cutting-edge A20 Pro chip and come with a price tag exceeding $2,000.
  • The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, which will offer a fresh palette of color choices and internal enhancements. Notably, the Pro Max will feature a mechanical variable aperture, a first for the iPhone series.
  • The Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, boasting new color variants and ceramic cases. These watches will also come packed with enhanced health features and support for an AI-driven Siri.
  • The AirPods 5, available in both standard and noise-cancelling editions, catering to diverse user preferences.
  • A revamped Apple TV set-top box, featuring a chip upgrade, support for Siri AI, and a redesigned remote control for a more intuitive user experience.
  • The inaugural MacBook Pro models to incorporate touchscreen and OLED displays. These will be available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, powered by the formidable M5 Pro and M5 Max processors.
