ASUS and GALAX have recently announced price increases for select models in their GeForce RTX 50 series graphics card lineup. This move represents the third or fourth price adjustment for NVIDIA graphics cards this year, impacting mid-range, upper mid-range, and high-end variants of the RTX 5070, 5070 Ti, and 5080 models. Notably, the prices of entry-level 50 and 60 series, as well as flagship 90 series graphics cards, remain unaffected. Specifically, ASUS has raised the prices of its RTX 5070 series graphics cards by an amount ranging from 150 to 300 yuan. Meanwhile, GALAX has implemented a 200 yuan increase for its RTX 5070 series, a 300 yuan hike for the 5070 Ti, and a substantial 500 yuan rise for the 5080 model. These new pricing structures are now officially in place.
The primary driver behind this price surge is the escalating costs of core components. NVIDIA had previously announced price increases for memory and GPU bundle solutions, triggering a widespread uptick in RTX 50 graphics card prices. Channel analysis indicates that other graphics card manufacturers are poised to follow suit with their own price hikes. This trend is expected to exert additional budgetary pressure on mid-range gamers, while simultaneously reducing the competitive pricing landscape within the mainstream graphics card market.
