On June 11, sources indicated that AutoFlight’s independently developed V2000CG Kerry Orca, a two-ton unmanned cargo electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft, has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining a Type Certificate (VTC) from the Civil Aviation Authority of Indonesia. This accomplishment marks the V2000CG as the first eVTOL model globally to attain overseas type certification. Prior to this, the aircraft had already secured the ‘three essential airworthiness certificates’ from the Civil Aviation Administration of China, laying a solid foundation for its forthcoming commercial operations in Indonesia.
