According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in the first 10 months of this year, the electronics manufacturing industry (above designated size) in China witnessed a 10.6% year-on-year surge in its added value. This figure outpaced the overall industry growth by 4.5 percentage points and surpassed that of the high-tech manufacturing sector by 1.3 percentage points, underscoring the industry's robust resilience and vibrant development momentum. Over the same period, mobile phone production soared to 1.25 billion units, with smartphones accounting for 1.02 billion units, marking a 0.7% year-on-year increase.
