According to an Omdia report, in the third quarter of 2025, the Chinese mainland smartphone market experienced a year-on-year decline of 3%. The market is still in an adjustment phase, with increasingly fierce competition and a further narrowing of the ranking gap among leading manufacturers. Among them, vivo regained the top spot with 11.8 million units shipped, accounting for an 18% market share; Huawei ranked second with 10.5 million units shipped and a 16% market share; Apple continued its upward trend, shipping 10.1 million units and rising two places in the rankings compared to the same period last year, securing a spot in the top three; Xiaomi and OPPO shipped 10 million and 9.9 million units respectively, ranking fourth and fifth.
