Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, has officially unveiled the brand-new 14-inch MacBook Pro, marking the debut of the M5 chip, with a starting price set at 12,999 yuan. In European markets (encompassing the UK, Ireland, Germany, and other countries), the packaging for the M5 MacBook Pro will no longer include a 70W USB-C charger. Moreover, customers will not have the option to directly add the charger on the configuration page. Instead, they can only include it via the 'shopping cart' feature. Industry analysts from technology media outlets suggest that this strategy is in harmony with Apple's commitment to environmental protection and might also be influenced by the European Union's fresh regulations concerning electronic waste management. Conversely, in Asian and North American markets, the M5 MacBook Pro will continue to be bundled with the charger.
