Prior to this overture, Zhu Lei had expressed skepticism regarding Xiaomi's online sales figures for air conditioners. According to data provided by AVC Revo, Xiaomi's online sales of air conditioners briefly surpassed those of Gree during a specific period. However, Gree swiftly pointed out discrepancies in these data, emphasizing that its online market share remained superior to Xiaomi's. Zhu Lei urged the industry to prioritize long-term quality as the cornerstone of competition, shifting the focus away from short-term sales rankings.
