Two groundbreaking international standards for high-voltage switching equipment, spearheaded by China, have been officially unveiled. These standards, titled High-voltage Switchgear and Controlgear - Part 313: DC Circuit Breakers and High-voltage Switchgear and Controlgear - Part 315: DC Transfer Switches, outline in meticulous detail the technical specifications and testing methodologies for high-voltage DC circuit breakers and transfer switches. They serve as a unified global benchmark for equipment in this field. Developed over a span of five years, these standards were led by Chinese experts in close collaboration with counterparts from nine other nations, including Germany, the United States, and France.
