The section of the Beijing-Baotou Passenger Dedicated Line between Xinghe North Station and Huai'an Station was temporarily closed due to flood discharge from the Xiyanghe Reservoir located in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. However, at 19:40, the line was successfully reopened. In response, the railway department swiftly adjusted its operational plan, resuming and adding several high-speed railway and CRH trains from Hohhot and Baotou to Beijing on the same day.
