According to weather forecasts, from the evening of July 28 to July 29, Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, and other areas are expected to experience heavy to torrential rain, with certain regions bracing for extremely heavy or catastrophic downpours. In response, at 9 PM on July 28, the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters elevated and initiated a Level III Emergency Response for flood control in these three regions, and promptly dispatched working groups to the frontlines to assist with flood control efforts and disaster relief operations.
