Asia's pioneering cross-border renewable energy power transmission project, the Mengsong 600MW mountain wind power initiative, has successfully commenced commercial operations with an initial installed capacity of 300MW. Nestled in Laos, this landmark project represents the nation's first foray into wind power and stands as Southeast Asia's largest single wind power project. Led by PowerChina's subsidiary, East China Electric Power Design Institute, the project is executed under an EPC contract, with collaborative support from Sinohydro Bureau 10 and Hubei Engineering Corporation.
