The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in conjunction with six other key departments, has jointly released the '15th Five-Year Plan' for the Development of the New Battery Industry. This comprehensive plan sets forth a strategic vision to propel the advancement of cutting-edge battery materials and high-end manufacturing equipment. Specifically, it aims to expedite the iterative enhancement of novel battery materials, with a keen focus on harnessing key materials sourced from abundant and consistently available mineral resources. Additionally, it underscores the importance of developing innovative electrode materials that boast high capacity, exceptional stability, intelligent responsiveness, and self-repairing capabilities, all while bolstering the large-scale production capacity of high-performance solid-state electrolyte materials.

Simultaneously, the plan places significant emphasis on the cultivation of high-end, fully integrated equipment that is not only high-speed and flexible but also intelligent. This involves achieving seamless process integration and precision refinement to elevate production efficiency and ensure uniform product quality. Furthermore, the plan highlights the necessity of concentrating on the research and development of specialized equipment tailored for pivotal processes, as well as addressing the existing gaps in specialized industrial software to foster a more robust and innovative battery industry ecosystem.
