Since establishing Blue Origin in 2000, Amazon's founder, Jeff Bezos, has channeled approximately $30 billion into the aerospace venture as of September 25, fueling advancements in rocket technology, satellite communications, and the broader space industry. According to documents obtained by the Wall Street Journal, Blue Origin is currently in the midst of its inaugural external funding round, having successfully secured around $10 billion in investments, thereby valuing the company at a staggering $140 billion.

With a workforce of approximately 15,000 employees, Blue Origin is poised for substantial growth in its commercial revenue streams. The documents reveal that the company anticipates its revenue to soar to roughly $800 million in 2025, climb further to $1.4 billion in 2026, and potentially surpass the $30 billion mark by 2030. Blue Origin's future expansion will predominantly hinge on its endeavors in rocket launches, satellite communications, and AI-driven satellite services.

Notably, the New Glenn heavy-lift reusable rocket stands out as a pivotal project in Blue Origin's quest to keep pace with SpaceX. The company is banking on this venture to bridge the gap with its rival in the fiercely competitive commercial space sector.
