The Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently convened a symposium focused on the advancement of the new energy storage industry. During the event, participants engaged in discussions to gather insights on enhancing the quality of energy storage products and systems, constructing a robust standard system, and refining industry regulatory frameworks. The symposium delved into strategies for fostering high-quality industrial growth through the implementation of standardized practices and safety protocols. Emphasis was placed on the fact that the new energy storage sector, recognized as a pivotal emerging pillar industry nurtured by the state, is presently experiencing a phase of swift expansion. To ensure the industry's healthy and standardized progression, it is imperative to adopt goal- and problem-centric strategies, focusing on three key areas: elevating product quality, optimizing standard systems, and bolstering industry governance.
