On Thursday (local time), SpaceX initially intended to execute the twelfth significant flight mission of its Starship from the Starbase launch site located in southern Texas. Nevertheless, the launch had to be delayed owing to several problems that surfaced on the day before the scheduled launch. The initial launch date happened to align with the company's formal submission of an application for an initial public offering, with the goal of raising as much as $75 billion. These funds are earmarked for the research and development of the Starship, which is designed for lunar and Martian landings, the Starlink space internet initiative, and burgeoning artificial intelligence enterprises.
