On April 20, Gurman disclosed that a memory shortage plaguing the entire industry has led to the postponement of two eagerly anticipated Apple Mac products. Specifically, the new Mac Studio, which is to be powered by the M5 Max/Ultra chips, will now see its release pushed back to October. Meanwhile, the inaugural MacBook Pro featuring an OLED touchscreen (equipped with the M6 chip) is expected to be delayed until the period spanning late 2026 to early 2027. It's important to note that this delay stems exclusively from supply chain constraints and bears no relation to the progress of product development.
