On December 23, 2025, China National Nuclear Power (CNNC) announced its intention to sign a with the Nuclear Power Institute of China. The agreement encompasses research on technical routes for power upgrades, enhancing the control level of reactor thermal power, comprehensive promotion of minor power increases, systematic advancement of capacity expansion for nuclear power units, and specialized efforts to boost the power generation capacity of CNP650 units. This transaction constitutes a related-party transaction but does not amount to a significant asset restructuring. It has been approved by the board of directors and does not require approval from the shareholders' meeting.
