The Windows 11 Paint application has just received an update, introducing a novel functionality that enables the automatic concealment of the toolbar, thereby resolving the longstanding issue of the toolbar consuming valuable screen real estate. Users can now simply click on the V-shaped icon located in the bottom-right corner of the top function bar and opt for the 'Automatically Hide Toolbar' option to collapse the top menu. This action allows the canvas to expand upwards, providing more space for creative work. When the toolbar is required again, users can click the 'Show Toolbar' button to temporarily reveal the menu. Once the operation is complete, a click anywhere on the canvas will automatically hide the menu once more. In addition to this enhancement, the Paint app has also incorporated several cutting-edge AI features. These include Image to Animation, Generative Image Editing, Background Removal, Generative Cleanup, AI Image Generator, and Style Redraw. The Image to Animation feature enables the transformation of static images into brief video clips or GIF animations. Generative Image Editing allows users to edit images through textual commands. Background Removal automatically detects and eliminates the image background. Generative Cleanup intelligently fills in the areas that have been deleted. The AI Image Generator is capable of creating images based on textual descriptions. Lastly, the Style Redraw feature permits users to convert images into a variety of preset artistic styles.
