Bezos's space venture, Blue Origin, has scheduled its 16th manned space mission for Saturday (local time). The mission will utilize the 'New Shepard' spacecraft to transport six crew members on a brief journey to the very brink of space. Among the crew is Mikaela Benthaus, who will become the first wheelchair user to venture into space. Benthaus was left with injuries following a mountain - biking accident. Also on board is Hans Koenigsmann, a seasoned engineer who devoted 20 years of his career to SpaceX before retiring in 2021.
