The world's first domestically produced large aircraft C919 flight simulator delivered to an airline was officially activated at the China Eastern Airlines R&D Center. As of December 2025, China Eastern Airlines' C919 fleet has accumulated over 40,000 hours of safe flight, transported more than 2.45 million passengers, trained over 160 pilots, and completed over 10,000 hours of flight training. During the activation ceremony, the China Eastern Airlines R&D Center signed a scientific and technological innovation cooperation agreement with COMAC Customer Service Corporation.
