ByteDance's Taihang Computing Power Center Phase II Secures Construction Land Use Permit for 4.5 Billion Investment

An announcement on the Shanxi Government Service Platform confirms that the second phase of the Huoshan Cloud Taihang Computing Power Center project has been granted approval for a construction land use planning permit. Situated in Guangling County, this project is funded by Huoshan Cloud (Datong) Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of ByteDance (Douyin Group), with an overall investment of 4.5 billion yuan. The project encompasses an area of 307.5 mu, encompassing plans for the installation of 15,604 server cabinets, each with a capacity of 12kW, alongside 510 network cabinets. The anticipated completion date for this ambitious initiative is May 2026.
