On July 21, the Beijing Municipal Economy and Information Technology Bureau convened a press conference to unveil the economic achievements of Beijing's industrial and information software sectors in the first half of 2026. It was highlighted that at the close of last year, Beijing rolled out the 'Three-Year Action Plan for the Establishment of the Beijing Digital Economy Enterprise Global Innovation Service Base (2026-2028),' delineating the construction objectives and tasks for enterprises venturing abroad over the ensuing three years. Lately, drawing on the operational experiences of the global expansion base and the primary needs of nearly a hundred digital economy enterprises, Beijing has introduced the 'Several Measures to Expedite the International Expansion of Digital Economy Enterprises in Beijing' (dubbed the 'Ten Global Expansion Measures') from three key perspectives: broadening channels, enhancing services, and fostering an ecosystem. These measures put forward ten supportive initiatives concerning funding and resources, with the goal of comprehensively alleviating the burdens faced by enterprises in their international growth and empowering them. The policy primarily zeroes in on three facets: firstly, expanding overseas connection channels to tackle market expansion hurdles; secondly, refining full-process support services to curtail cross-border compliance expenses; and thirdly, nurturing an international digital ecosystem and establishing Beijing's global brand.
