China’s Intelligent Computing Capacity Soars to 2185 EFLOPS

On July 20, during a press conference organized by the State Council Information Office, Xie Cun, Director of the Bureau of Information and Communication at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, announced that by the end of June, China’s intelligent computing capacity had surged to 2185 EFLOPS. Additionally, he noted that the overall utilization rate of computing facilities nationwide stood at 71.4%. Over the past two years, more than 70 major computing corridors have been set up around the country’s key computing hub nodes, resulting in a 10% improvement in network performance between these interconnected nodes.
