In a bid to drive the high-caliber, standardized overseas expansion of China’s computing power tokens and tackle industry-wide hurdles like cross-border compliance, standardization frameworks, and ecosystem collaboration, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), in partnership with key entities across the industrial chain, has jointly rolled out the ‘Computing Power Token Overseas Expansion Ecosystem Initiative’.

Centered on three pivotal areas—‘landscape assessment, ecosystem nurturing, and pathway optimization’—the initiative zeroes in on the crucial links and bottlenecks throughout the entire industrial chain involved in the overseas expansion of computing power tokens. Drawing on CAICT’s profound research and technological prowess in computing power, digital infrastructure, and cross-border data compliance, the initiative delivers dynamically updated research insights and public services to the industry. This paves the way for a transition from the exploratory phase to a standardized, efficient, and sustainable trajectory of high-quality development. Moving forward, the initiative will place a premium on fostering ecological collaboration, spurring technological innovation, and accelerating international expansion.
