On June 27, reports indicated that in the first five months of this year, China's export value of mechanical and electrical products soared to RMB 7.58 trillion, constituting 63.6% of the total export value. Since March 2025, this figure has reached a record high for the same period for 15 consecutive months. At a factory in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, a reporter observed that nearly a thousand looms were busy producing electronic fabrics essential for artificial intelligence servers. Electronic fabrics serve as a pivotal material in the electronic information industry. With the burgeoning demand for computing power, the demand for these fabrics has also seen a substantial uptick, compelling the company's production lines to operate at full throttle 24/7.

Since the commencement of this year, the export of computing power-related products has picked up pace. In Wuhan, the optical module production line has been running non-stop around the clock. As the construction of global computing power infrastructure accelerates, the company's export of optical modules exceeding 800G has skyrocketed by over 100 times on a year-on-year basis. Data reveals that products associated with the artificial intelligence industry chain have contributed to more than 50% of the incremental growth in this year's export of mechanical and electrical products, emerging as a major growth catalyst.
