On October 14, as reported on the official WeChat account of the '5G Promotion Group', ZTE, under the expert guidance of the IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group, has recently accomplished a significant milestone by completing the 5G-A cellular passive IoT technology test. Throughout the testing phase, ZTE employed Category 2a terminal tags for cellular passive IoT, sourced from Chinarise Technology. Leveraging the direct connection architecture outlined in the 3GPP R19 Ambient IoT standard, ZTE successfully carried out networking tests on 5G-A cellular passive IoT base stations operating within the 900MHz frequency band. The collected test data revealed that, within the designated effective coverage area, the system demonstrated a flawless 100% success rate in inventorying both single and multiple tags.
