On October 11, during the 2025 China Mobile Global Partners Conference, Chief Engineer Zhong Zhihong from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) emphasized the importance of pursuing deep integration and driving the empowerment of information and communication technologies (ICT) across diverse sectors. Concrete actions outlined include launching the two-way empowerment initiative between the industrial internet and artificial intelligence, fostering the development of industrial agents, and facilitating high-level empowerment of new-type industrialization. Furthermore, MIIT is set to vigorously promote the extensive application of ICT in areas such as smart cities, digital rural areas, intelligent transportation systems, and smart energy, thereby contributing to the elevation of social governance modernization.
