On October 22, Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou, a global market strategist at JPMorgan Chase, and his team pointed out that the recent decline in the semiconductor sector indicates that most long positions, including those held by momentum investors, have been closed out. Although short-term headwinds remain, the adjustment of positions may have limited the market's further downside. Additionally, the JPMorgan Chase team also discussed the financing risks of new cloud enterprises. They believe that while financing poses certain challenges, due to the strong demand for computing resources, these companies may be able to pass on the rising financing costs to end customers. Even if financing is not feasible, the timing mismatch between capital expenditures and revenue is unlikely to disrupt the industry's overall growth cycle.
