US startup Veritas has introduced its second-generation product authentication chip, designed to help brands and consumers more accurately verify product authenticity by embedding digital identities into goods. Developed by the company founded by former Tesla product manager Luci Holland, the chip is designed to be easily embedded into products without damaging the items themselves. The second-generation chip can function on metal surfaces and be scanned through glass, supporting a wider range of application scenarios.
