Data on August sales from German retailer Mindfactory reveals that AMD graphics cards substantially outperformed those from NVIDIA, with graphics cards based on the RDNA 4 architecture being particularly noteworthy. As one of Germany's premier online retailers specializing in PC hardware, Mindfactory's sales figures offer a window into consumer preferences within the German and, by extension, the broader European DIY hardware market. Throughout August, Mindfactory reported a total of 2,810 graphics card sales, with AMD capturing 1,570 units (55.87% of the total), NVIDIA securing 1,110 units (39.50%), and Intel contributing 130 units (4.63%).

Focusing on individual model sales, AMD's RX 9070 XT emerged as the standout performer, selling 870 units and representing 31% of the total sales volume. The RX 9060 XT followed closely, with 600 units sold, accounting for 21.4% of the total. Combined, these two models accounted for a significant majority of the total sales. For NVIDIA, the RTX 5070 Ti was the top seller, with 270 units sold, ranking third overall. In terms of VRAM capacity, graphics cards equipped with 16GB or more of memory dominated the market, constituting 75.8% of total sales and indicating that large VRAM capacities have become the mainstream preference among consumers.
