ASML's shares have witnessed a notable uptick of over 2% in pre-market trading, with the stock price reaching $1,754.5. The company is set to join forces with its major clients to devise innovative solutions aimed at fulfilling the burgeoning demand for large-scale data center chips from industry giants such as Nvidia. Presently, ASML's EUV (Extreme Ultraviolet) lithography machines are capable of producing chips with a maximum area of around 800 square millimeters. Although the upcoming generation of high-numerical-aperture EUV lithography machines will be able to craft even more intricate chips, their production capacity is constrained by the dimensions of the photomasks used. ASML has ambitious plans to unveil a pilot production line utilizing larger photomasks by 2031 and aims to achieve full-scale mass production of this advanced technology by 2033.
