Network chip manufacturer Celero Communications recently secured $275 million in funding, valuing the company at over $3 billion. This funding round was co-led by Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners, and CapitalG, a subsidiary of Alphabet. Founded two years ago, Celero focuses on the development of coherent digital signal processors for AI data centers, a technology that enhances data transmission efficiency in fiber-optic networks and supports the construction of larger-scale AI chip clusters. Gavin Baker, managing partner and chief investment officer of Atreides, will join Celero's board of directors.
