On September 8, ASML launched a major new project in the Netherlands on Tuesday, aimed at meeting the growing demand driven by the artificial intelligence boom. The project is expected to ultimately provide workspace for up to 20,000 people, with the first phase planned for completion by 2029. It will include additional offices, logistics facilities, and cleanrooms—a controlled environment used for manufacturing specialized equipment. ASML stated that the newly designed 'flow factory' will enable it to build and assemble its massive chip-printing tools more rapidly and efficiently.
