According to reports, Samsung Electronics plans to significantly increase the supply of HBM4 chips starting from the third quarter of this year. To this end, the company has increased wafer input for HBM4 chips since the middle of this year to achieve large-scale mass production. The chips are manufactured using Samsung's 4nm (SF4) process. According to internal and external sources, as of last month, more than half of Samsung Electronics' total 4nm production capacity has been allocated to HBM4 chips.
