Based on insights from TrendForce, Apple is now leaning towards securing long-term supply agreements (LTAs) for its NAND flash memory acquisitions. This move signifies a notable strategic pivot for the tech giant, which has long been recognized for its formidable bargaining prowess. Traditionally, LTAs have been predominantly prevalent in the High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) domain, but their scope is now progressively broadening to encompass DRAM and NAND flash memory as well. Kioxia emerges as a pivotal supplier for Apple, with the duo having formalized a long-term NAND flash memory supply pact. This agreement spans a duration of three to five years and notably lacks any price constraints. Presently, the market's attention is riveted on whether Apple will further expand its LTA strategy to encompass the DRAM sector.
