Intel is set to officially provide support for DDR5 memory, with a maximum specification of 8000MT/s CSO-DIMM, in the mobile iteration of its forthcoming next-generation "Nova Lake" processor, which boasts the 12Xe "large integrated graphics" unit. Although the existing "Panther Lake 12Xe" mobile processor is technically compatible with DDR5 at the hardware level, Intel has not yet offered official support for it. Nevertheless, given that the "Nova Lake 12Xe" is rumored to potentially include an FCLGA desktop variant, it is expected to exhibit hardware compatibility with DDR5.
